As the sun begins its descent, arrive at the majestic waterfall, a tranquil oasis beckoning for an afternoon swim. As dusk settles, pitch tents with comfortable mattresses on the sandy shore, where the soothing sound of cascading water serenades you to sleep. Gather for a delightful aperitif before indulging in a well-deserved dinner under the starlit sky, camping in the enchanting embrace of the waterfall.
Day 2: Nosy Ampela to Ambida
Day two unfolds with a hearty breakfast at Casade, launching into another eight-hour canoeing odyssey at 7 am. Navigate through a tapestry of sights, from vibrant avian life to quaint villages, framed by the stoic presence of baobab trees. Encounter the ancient guardians of the river, crocodiles sunbathing on the banks, before retiring in Ambinda for the night, where rest awaits under a canopy of twinkling stars.
Day 3: Ambinda to Tsaroatana
As dawn breaks on the final day, savor breakfast amidst the tranquil ambiance of Ambinda before setting sail at 7 am for a leisurely two-hour canoeing stint. By 9 am, arrive at Tsaroatana, where the journey transitions to terra firma. A scenic 45-kilometer drive leads to the Belo ferry, marking the end of an exhilarating expedition down the Tsiribihina River.
